Michelson, Susanne E (nee Diemer)
Mequon, WI – Passed away on Monday July 20, 2026 at the age of 79 surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Aaron Michelson and Elisabeth (Michael) Cammack. Proud grandmother of Colton Cammack. Beloved sister of Joel Diemer, Mark Diemer and Tim (Marilyn) Diemer. Dear sister-in-law of Ronald (Mary) Michelson. Further survived by other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Peter R Michelson of 47 years, her parents Reverend Adolph and Elizabeth Diemer, and her sister in-law's Martha Michelson and Geraldine Diemer.
Susanne grew up in Thiensville, WI with her three brothers. She moved to Sheboygan Falls during her high school years. She attended nursing school and later attended Cardinal Stritch University to receive her Bachelor Degree in Nursing. She worked at Northwest General Hospital for many years before moving into Home Health Care. Her love of children and nursing brought her to care for children with complex medical needs.
Susanne loved different activities. She was part of a book club and bible study where she had many friends. She also enjoyed volunteering and staying active. Her love of animals included watching the birds and caring for her cat Samantha.
Susanne was a survivor of lung cancer. She faced her battles with strength and courage and inspired everyone around her.
Susanne was deeply loved and cherished by family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be on Thursday August 6th, 2026 at 10:00am until time of memorial service at 11:00am at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church 8424 W Center St. Milwaukee, WI. A Reception will be provided for family and friends following the service. A private burial with close family will take place following the reception.
