Enright, Marian Esther (Nee Heffernan), of Brookfield, formerly of Wauwatosa. Born April 1, 1932, died March 11, 2010. For fifty years, the loving wife of the late Thomas A. Enright. Devoted mother of Brigid Enright Terry of Janesville, Margaret Enright of Chicago and Bernard (Mary) Enright of Brookfield. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Kate and Patrick Terry, and Connor, Tom and Elizabeth Enright. Further survived by brothers- and sisters-in law, cousins, and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents William and Esther (Ross) Heffernan, and siblings Elaine Feest and William Heffernan. A graduate of St. Clara Academy in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin and of Marquette University, Marian earned a degree in speech pathology and worked in speech and elementary education in both parochial and public schools in the Milwaukee area. Marian served as the secretary of St. Bernard Parish in Wauwatosa from 1983 to 2001, where she was also a member of the parish choir. She also enjoyed singing with the choir at St. Pius X Parish in Wauwatosa and the chorus at her residence, Heritage Place in Brookfield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18 at St. Joseph’s Church, 12130 W. Center Street in Wauwatosa. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Memorial Masses in Marian’s name or contributions to the charity of your choice are appreciated. The family extends its gratitude to the staff of Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for its kindness and care.
