William Robert "Bill" Stuckey
March 31, 1935 - May 27, 2011

Of Bayside. Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and three adult children Susan Goudreau of Fox Point, Cindy Stuckey of New York, New York and Steven Stuckey of Cedarburg as well as their families Wendy, Kelley Stuckey, Tracy Goudreau and grandchildren Kaylee Stuckey, Britny and Samantha Kelley and Cameron and Payton Goudreau. Bill is preceded in death by his sisters Shirley Goeke (Merle), Marleen Tolke (Keith) and his young brother Merle Lee Stuckey better known as Boob (Bonnie).

 

Bill spent his professional life in school administration starting in Fairbury, IL where he held a business manager position and coached and led the schools basketball team to a state championship. To further advance his career he moved to Monroe WI as District Business Manager for the school system and then launched his WIAA 25 years career referring for basketball, baseball and football sports teams with his three close friends. He then moved to Bayside WI for a position with the Nicolet School District as Associate Business Manager and ended his career in the Grafton School District as Building and Grounds Supervisor.

 

Bill believed in giving service to others and being involved in both the community and church. He was a Bayside Trustee for 3 terms with over 9 years of service. He was a Lion’s Club leader in both Monroe and Bayside/Fox Point, he led and organized the Bayside Village picnic for over 15 years and served and led the Trustees of the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay for many years as well as serving on the Church Council.

 

Visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay; 819 East Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay on Wednesday, June 1 from 2 PM to the time of a celebration of his life at 4 PM. Memorials to the church would be greatly appreciated.

 

Bill loved his family and put them first. He also enjoyed traveling with his friends, as well as fishing, golfing, mushroom hunting and playing cards.
