Born to Life August 31, 1918. Born to Eternal Life December 29, 2011, at the age of 93. Formerly of Union, NJ, Michael moved to Dousman, WI, 1 ½ years ago. The son of Michael and Katherine (Kramlick) Gunther, he joins them and his loving wife Anna (Primusz) of 56 years, brother John and sister Elizabeth as well as many family members and friends to celebrate their faith and heavenly rewards. He is survived by sister Katherine. He was the beloved father to Michael (Joan) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; beloved father to June (James) Perkins of Oconomowoc, WI; and beloved father to Anne Marie (Richard) Lohn of Madison, CT. He was revered by grandchildren Heather (David) Ferber, Julie (Terry) Quandt, Andrew Perkins, Claudia Lohn and Evan Lohn. He was the loving great grandpa to Nicholas and Miles Quandt and Aidan, Benjamin and Callum Ferber. Michael’s kindness was in turn returned to him by his family, nieces, nephews and physicians during his last years and by staff at Three Pillars/Compass Point Senior Living Community, Hickory Suites Rehabilitation and Seasons Hospice during his last days. His body will be flown from Schmidt & Bartelt – Notbohm – Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 Cross Street in Oconomowoc to Union, NJ, where visitation will be Friday, January 6, at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, with Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 7, at Holy Spirit Church at 10 a.m. followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
