Barkow, Betty A.

(nee Leach) Was called Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Cherished wife of the late William. Loving mother of Sally Hjorth and Peggy (Donald) Schulz. Grandmother “Baba” to William Yorth, Melissa (William) Stager and Michael Kauth. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Jacob and Katelyn Stager. Dear sister of John Leach. Preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Leach and sister, Phyllis Kempster. Further survived by other relatives and friends and her beloved English bulldog, Tank. 

Betty was a dedicated employee of FABCO Caterpillar for 30 years as an office manager. She was a pioneer in her industry for a woman in the sales department at the company. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed painting, especially watercolors, and was always staying active. 

Private services will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty’s name to the MACC Fund are greatly appreciated.
