Stern, Virginia E.Found peace on January 16, 2014 at the age of 66. Beloved wife and best friend of Don for 54 years. Loving mom of Brenda (Jon) Vik and Anne Stern. Proud grandma of Ryan Gigstead, Erika Vik and Ethan Vik. Sister of Rosanne (Patrick) Krause, John (Rhonda) Engel and Rita (Bill) Forrester. Sister-in-law of Barb (Ozzie) Markeland, Shirlee (Barry) Nelson, Kristy (Dusan) Pavlovich, Jeff (Jackie) Stern, Steve (Janet Beekman) Stern and Chris (Jacki) Stern. Special friend of Sharon and Dan Kienast & family, Cheryl and Jim Gleixner, Sharron and Mike Schieble and all of her co-workers at Schaefer & Associates Eye Care. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Visitation will be Friday January 24, 2014 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4pm until time of Memorial service at 7pm. Private burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Menomonee Falls. 

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Community Memorial Hospital Cancer Care Center and the nursing and radiology departments. Also, a special thank you to the 3rd floor staff for their unending patience, love and care shown to the entire family during Ginny’s last days. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ginny’s name to the CMH Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated.
