Born June 18, 1930. Passed away peacefully in hospice August 28, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Charles was an Army veteran. He was an adventurer as he traveled to Guatemala and Ecuador. Mr. Habeck was a beloved English teacher at West Division High School, 1961-1964. During his career as a consulting actuary from 1964-1989; he became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Preceded in death by father, Charles W. Habeck Sr and mother, Dorothea (nee Mackmiller) Habeck. 

Survived by his children, William H.B. (Sharon nee Stanley) and their son, Maxwell; Kenneth D.A. (Tania nee Mertzman) and their sons, Alexander and Christopher; and Sara E. (Bradley) Kucik and their son, Robert. Dear brother of Bernice A. Habeck and James R. Habeck. 

An informal memorial celebration at the funeral home on Sunday September 20 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM with the opportunity for family and friends to share memories of Charles at 4:00PM. Please feel free to bring photos to share. The family looks forward to celebrating with you all. In lieu of flowers memorials to Relay for Life (relay.acsevents.org) or the American Cancer Society appreciated. 

After a valiant fight with cancer he is at peace. “We love and miss you Dad!”
