Robert  (Bob) Michael Eckert

October 19, 1924 - December 19, 2015

Passed away peacefully into the warm embrace of God’s arms on December 19, 2015, at the age of 91. He is survived by his loving wife Bernice of over 69 years.

Robert (Bob) served the country he loved as a Radar Technician in the US Navy during WWII aboard the attack transport USS Hayes. His love of God as a devote Christian and his love of Country as a great American were accompanied by his intense love of family.

Dear father of Diane (Mike) Kostecki, Jim (Shirley) Eckert, Tom (Debbie) Eckert, Bob (Krisee) Eckert and Doreen Eckert.

Loving grandfather of Steve (Tammy) Kostecki, Lisa (Jeff) Turkow, Michelle (Tim) Ross, Brian (Stacy) Swantz, Jody (Brody) Hartmann, Justin (Sarah) Eckert, Kelly Eckert, Sarah Eckert, Kristy (David) Frasher, Jenny (Dan) Burau, Angie (Matthew) Bahr, Kevin (Shelly) Eckert, John (Julia) Udick and Gina (Christian) Boesdorfer.

Very proud great-grandfather of Kayla Kostecki, Joey Kostecki, Dante Turkow, Molly Turkow, Emma Ross, Ethan Ross, Jacob Swantz, Anna Swantz, Mikenna Hartmann, Brianna Hartmann, Jared Hartman, Kaden Hartmann, Kiandra Hartmann, Gage Eckert, Ethan Eckert, Brooke Eckert, Mataya Eckert, Alayna Frasher, Evelyn Burau, Joshua Eckert, Jude Bahr, and Jane Boesdorfer.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Saturday, December 26th at St. James Catholic Parish, 830 County Road NN E, Mukwonago, WI  53149, with Visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of the Eucharistic Mass at 12:00 NOON at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. James Catholic Parish.
