Nancy K Fehrenbach, surrounded by her family, passed away on May 20, 2016 at age 77 at the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa after a battle with breast cancer. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 19, 1938, the daughter of Sam and Dolores Schaut Klatman. She moved to St. Marys, PA at a young age and graduated from St Marys Central Catholic High School in 1956 as valedictorian of her class. She graduated from Nazareth College, Rochester, NY in 1960. She married Robert Fehrenbach on July 9, 1960. They moved to Wisconsin in 1972 where they raised their family. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a son Joseph who died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband and seven terrific children, Ann Fehrenbach (Peter Nelson), John (Shari), James (friend, Erin Puma), Kurt (Kelly), Molly Fehrenbach-Nicholls (Brian Nicholls), George (Susan), and Frank (Pam Doll) as well as 15 extraordinary grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Carol (Alquin) Dornisch, sisters-in-law Ruth Fehrenbach and Mary Keyes, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and will also be remembered as being a tremendous sports fan, particularly college basketball and Major League Baseball.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Gesu 1145 W. Wisconsin Avenue Milwaukee, at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, with a visitation at the church beginning at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pius XI Catholic High School or the charity of your choice are suggested.
