Donn J. Scharninghausen passed on July 9th, 2016 at the age of 50.  Donn was the beloved husband of Jenn Scharninghausen (Nee Wink).  Loving father of Molly and Maggie.  Survived by two sons, Nick and Steven.  Son of Erika Cheesbro (Paul) and the late Donald Scharninghausen (Nancy).  Son-in-law of Mike Wink and The Grannies - Karen Wink and Joyce Wigand.  Brother of Heidi Papenthien (Jeff), Krista Larson (Randy), Mark Scharninghausen (Heather) and Laura Steinmann (Ward).  Proud Uncle of Melissa, Kyle, Holly, Marek, Hunter, Declan, Justin and Jason.  New Grandpa to Kenzie.  Donn is also survived by many aunts, uncles and countless friends. 

Donn was the Executive Chef at Ferrante’s Mequon for many years.  During his career, Donn was a trusted friend and family member to the whole Ferrante's family.   

Memorial Service will be held at the Schmidt and Bartelt Mequon Funeral Home on Saturday, July 16th at 2:00 PM.  Visitation is from 12:00pm until the time of service. 

Please join family and friends for a memorial picnic to celebrate Donn's life. The picnic will be held at River Barn Park - Sommer Pavilion - 9808 North Cedarburg Road, Mequon, WI 53092.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be mailed to or dropped off at any Wells Fargo Bank location for the Donn Scharninghausen Memorial Fund.
