(nee Knackert) Went home on August 14, 2017 at the age of 86. Wife of James T. Happily married for 64 years. Mother of Patricia (Michael), the late Pamela, James (Maureen), and Dennis (Christine). Beloved grandmother to James, Katherine, and Elizabeth. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Dorothy worked for 22 years at the Milwaukee Psychiatric Hospital retiring as the Medical Records Director.

Visitation on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 8:30 AM until the Celebration of Life at 10 AM at St. Pius X Parish, 2506 Wauwatosa Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Foundation appreciated.
