Love and hugs to all the family. When I was a "newbie" in language school at Rusambo, Dick and I visited Karanda one day, where Phil and Barb hosted us for lunch. It was such a pleasure spending time with them, and Barb introduced me to pistachio pudding. Many years later, remarried and with 3 children, I enjoyed another dinner with Phil and Barb; they had connected us with Camp Timber Lee, where we enjoyed a family camp, and again Barb prepared a dinner for our famiy. This time the fun dessert was dirt pudding! Puddings aside, knowing all of you that I've been privileged to know has been a great blessing. Phil is surely hearing his "Well done..." now.

To the Christiansen family, Phil's legacy lives on in your family as I have had the privilege of knowing Jon -his brothers & Jon's children. Phil (&Barb's) love for the Lord will live on through the generations. Grateful to have met him. Prayers of love!

Heartfelt and deepest sympathies to you all, although knowing that in the midst of your loss, you're all rejoicing because of the faithfulness of The Risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Knowing that you all WILL meet again some glad day, and that we can look forward to that day with great confidence because The Lord has assured us it will be so. May The Lord encourage and comfort you all in and through this time and the days ahead. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Mrs Christiansen,
Thank you for the commitment to serving the Lord that brought you and your family to Karanda. God's ministry here continues in His strength and to His glory. We are blessed to have your commitment live on in your son Jon and Kathy. May the Holy Spirit comfort you in this time of transition. What a great reunion we will have when we reach our eternal home.
Much Love,
Kiersten Hutchinson

We always heard of Phil and Barb, among those who "went before us" in Rhodesia. We were glad when Jon and Kathy joined us! What a heritage Phil and Barb have left behind them. Thank You, Lord, for them both!

My heart is with you all as you go through this transition period and also celebrate many wonderful memories.
