I will forever remember Father Mick-my husband and I took classes on "Jesus" at his home and my daughter joined us as well - he was responsible for bringing my husband back to Christ - he also married us - his sense of humor and love for Christ is what I will remember the most - I'm grateful

I met him when he came to our church our Lady of Lourdes as a associated pastor in June, 2003. He had the most wonderful voice for mass I heard. I know in Heaven he will continue to sing
the praises of God forever. He was a very good priest.

from a card I found:
As some people journey thru life, they leave footprints wherever they go---footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor and inspiration, joy and faith. Even when they are gone, we can still look back and clearly see the trail they left behind-- a trail bright with hope that invites us to follow.
RIP Father Mick. You touched our lives. You will truly be missed.

Ron and I are saddened by the loss of Father Mick. We were blessed to have known him, albeit for way too short a time. He sanctified our marriage in the Church last year. Truly a memory we will always cherish.

Rest In Peace, Father Mick! What a shock to hear of his passing. My husband and I were members of Our Lady of Lourdes and participated in daily Mass as well as weekend liturgies. We watched him grow from a newly ordained to a confident pastor! He had a beautiful smile and caring attitude about all!

To Fr Mick's family and friends, we join you in recalling the many special occasions that he was a part of and how special he was. He was presided at a wedding, confirmations, baptisms in our family at OLOL. Our thoughts are with his church families at St James and St Teresa's

I have visited St James on several occasions when it wasn't possible to make Mass at my home parish. Fr. Mick always made me feel like one of the congregation, though. His easy-going nature and infectious laugh just brought joy to the church. If he made a mistake, he laughed it off; an amazing tribute to his character. Truly and deeply saddened by his death. Strength and peace to all who struggle with his loss.
