Virginia M. "Ginny" Tremaine

(nee Martin) Virginia “Ginny” Tremaine, 65, of the Town of Oconomowoc, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at her home with her loving husband at her side. She was born August 7, 1952 in Watertown to Alphonse and Barbara Martin. She was a 1970 graduate of Oconomowoc High School. Ginny married Scott D. Tremaine on February 18, 1984. She and Scott enjoyed many vacations and motorcycle trips together. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and gambling trips with her sisters. Ginny was the family historian and enjoyed communicating with everyone with her phone, IPad, and Facebook.

Ginny was employed at Fiberesin Industries, Wolf Paving, Pepsi, and Komponents.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Scott, her dog, Sam, and her cat, Stinker. She is also survived by siblings Rita Jungbluth, Shirley Zwieg, Betty (Roger) Tremaine, Edward Martin, Barbara (James) Kuehl, Susan Grulke, Christine Martin, James (Jacky) Martin, Steve (Marge) Martin, and step-brother Bob Bergman as well as sisters-in-law Diane Martin and Marion Martin. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ginny was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher; her parents; her in-laws, Clifford and Evelyn Tremaine; stepfather Leonard Bergman; sisters Joan Wittnebel and Mary Komp; brothers Ralph, Richard, Douglas, Thomas and Michael Martin; brothers-in-law Vilas Wittnebel, Joseph Jungbluth, Leo Komp, Martin Zwieg, and Hilbert Grulke, Jr; and her sister-in-law, Mae Martin.

A very special thank you to Clayton Lenz, her great-nephew and to Lori Smith, her caregiver, for the exceptional care and friendship they both provided. Also, a sincere thank you to the Smith family: Lori, Chris, Anna, Austin, Addison, and Amelia for the great joy you gave to both Ginny, and Scott.

A private burial will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
