Dear Mary, Annie, Joe, and Jackie, Sending my love to all of you at this sad time. Jon was a gentle soul and will be missed.
This Native American Prayer has always given me strength and I hope it does for you too:

I give you this one thought to keep-I am with you still-I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone....I am with you still in each new dawn.
Peace out, Love you guys, Pam

Dear Mary,

I've missed Jon ever since you all left Boca, and enjoyed a good talk with him a couple months ago, always the fighter. Memories of him holding down the Pass Club veranda in a long sleeve white comfortable shirt........ paradise indeed. Our condolences, he truly was a "boss" kind of guy! Our most sincere condolences to you and your family.

Johnny worked with me in summers when I came home from college. He knew my brothers better. He was fun and kind. Even my boys were upset when they heard of Johnny’s passing and they only were with him a few times. He was that kind of man.

Jackie and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was larger than life and impressed me as a businessman, family man and a uncompromising character. He always knew my name and had time for me. I witnessed how he cared for his mother at Draper Hall and was touched. Carry the torch!

I don’t have the words to express the sorrow I feel for your family. John was a huge character in my life, as I’m sure the lives of everyone that had the privelage to know him. I ran into him a few months ago, and we exchanged phone numbers, because he had a “big idea” and I was the perfect person to help him. I always admired that about John, he had a gift of making everyone he spoke to feel like they were very important. John positively impacted my life, and I have thought about him often over the last 30 years, since the first time I met him. John will be greatly missed by everyone, and I will continue to hold a special place in my heart for him, as I have from the first time we met. God speed John Haas.
