I am very sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Jill as a correctional officer in Waukesha. I remember her to be a great co-worker and wonderful person. She had a great sense of humor and was very caring. Without intending to, she even gave me the idea for the name of my daughter, who is now in college. Sometimes you just never know the impact someone can have when your paths cross in life.

~ Brian Bednarek, Pewaukee, WI

I was so sad to hear of Jill's passing. I was fortunate to work with Jill at the Waukesha County Sheriff's Dept. and she was always a pleasure to be with. And despite the challenges and frustrations of the job Jill always maintained a positive and compassionate attitude towards her co-workers and those we served. She was such a nice person who clearly loved raising her daughters as she spoke of them often. She had such a kind spirit and wonderful sense of humor. I will always remember her warm smile. I am certain she will be missed by all that knew her.

I worked with Jill at the Sheriffs Dept. I would not have survived my first year there if it wasn’t for her JTO teaching - advise, wisdom, diplomacy, and to not be judgemental. Her kind words, support, smile, laughter, care, intelligence, and wisdom shall always be cherished in my heart. I’m blessed to have known her. Heaven truly has another angel. Hugs, love, and prayers to the Davy and Bergman families. ??????

Please accept my deepest condolences at this very sad time. I feel blessed to have had Jill in my life. I was her secretary in the Intake Unit at Human Services for several years and I knew Jill to be a warm, funny and caring person, who always had a kind word or thought to share. I hope the caring and support of your loved ones will bring you peace during this very dark time. My prayers and sympathy are with you and your family.
