Passed suddenly on February 23 at age 85.  Beloved husband for 60 years of Marilyn (nee Ditscheit).  Further survived by daughter Susan Verish and son Steven.  Loving grandfather of Christina (Jack) Burnett, Andrew Gartner, Stephanie, Angela, and Matthew Verish.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Special Uncle to Mary (Bob) Allison and Karen Douglas.

Preceded in death by mother Adele, father James, and brother Curt.

Emery served proudly in the US Armed Forces in Japan during the Korean conflict and returned to his birthplace of Milwaukee.  He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 449.

Visitation Saturday March 3 from 11am until time of Memorial Service at 1pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa.  If desired, memorials may be made to Fisher House Wisconsin.
