Born December 12, 1923 and born to eternal life on April 11th, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents,  Melanie and Karl and her brother, ​Karl W. Stahle. ​Aunt of Henry (Gertrude) Kann, Richard, Timothy, and Martin (Elizabeth) Stahle. ​Grand-aunt of Oliver (Janet)​, Casandra, Lydia, Zachary, Erich and Gretchen. Further survived by other relatives and friends.  

Edith immigrated with her family from eastern Europe, spent much of her life taking care of others and thrived on sharing in their joy. 

Special thanks to the staff at Matthews of Glendale, St Mary’s Hospital, Horizon Hospice and the Lutheran Home for taking care of Edith when she needed it most and bringing comfort to her on a daily basis.

Edith knew how much she meant to everyone, and no matter the circumstances, she would always end her reply with a cheery "Ya-ya!" 

Visitation and service on Monday April 16th from 9-10 am at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 N. Port Washington Road in Mequon following by interment at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee at 10:30 am.​
