Of Mequon, WI passed into Eternal Life Sunday April 22, 2018 at the age of 78 years at the Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ellen Maihofer and her siblings, John Maihofer and Mary Ann Johnson. Janet is survived by her husband, Robert J., her children, Patty (Mark) Kastenholz, Cindi (Bob) Wood, Tom and Susan (Brad) Bice, her grandchildren, Meredith and Heidi Kastenholz, Zachariah and Amelia Wood and Jordyne, Dustin, Ehryn and Nolan Runkel. She will be dearly missed by her dog, Pfeiffer.

Janet was born October 8, 1939 in Menominee, MI and attended Menominee High School. She continued her education at Prospect Secretarial School before meeting her husband Bob. They married October 15, 1960 and enjoyed 57 years of marriage together.

Visitation Friday May 4, 2018 from 2:00PM until time of Memorial Mass at 3:00PM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2750 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon. A reception will follow the mass in the church hall. Private family interment at Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lawlis Family Hospice c/o Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, 13111 N. Pt.
