Of Germantown, age 86, died on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Ingleside Nursing Home on Mt. Horeb, WI. He was born February 23, 1932 to Clifford and Irma (Douglas) Pohlman in Montezuma, Iowa. He was a US Army veteran during the Korean War with a rank of Sergeant and was a member of the Germantown American Legion Post.

He was married to Dolores Hoover and then married Caroline J. Hauser Senay; they both preceded him in death. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, races at Milwaukee and Slinger Speedway. Jim had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them at the Menomonee/Germantown Senior Center.

Survivors include his children: Mike (Mary Forseth) Pohlman of Verona, Denise (Jerry) Olson of Madison, Clifford (Sherry) Pohlman of Tulsa, OK, and Jamie (Karen) Pohlman of Madison, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his step-daughter, Elizabeth “Annie” Senay of Germantown and 2 step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 wives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday May 31st at ST. BONIFACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, W204 N1140 Goldendale Road, Germantown. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors. Visitation at the CHURCH from 10:30 AM until 11:15 AM.
