Fred J. Fischer
April 14, 1949 - July 22, 2018

Fred was born and raised in Milwaukee, the third child in the loving home of Clem and Clairetta Fischer. He attended grade school at Saint Anne's Parish and later graduated from Francis Jordan High School. Fred joined the Wisconsin National Guard and later earned an Associate Degree in Electronics from MATC.

Fred was in the phone sales and service business for most of his career. He owned his own business, ITT Terryphone, for approximately 10 years. He also served as Service Manager/Technician for Phone-Tec and retired from Convergent Solutions just four years ago. Fred lived an active lifestyle that included traveling/cruising, playing volleyball at the Beulah Brinton Community Center, and 30+ years as a singer in the Hales Corners Community Chorus.

Fred passed away completely unexpectedly at the age of 69. He will be greatly missed by his adoring wife, Carol Mann, loving sister Donna (Rolan) Doffing, and admiring brother Ron (Ann) Fischer. He was blessed with two sons: Greg (Diana) Fischer and Phillip Fischer (Lindsey Abendschein). Upon his marriage to Carol, he also gained two daughters and a third son: Heidi (Barry) Krueger, Bethany (Tristan) Kloss, and Eric (Erin) Volkmann. Fred is further survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and three grandchildren (Xander, Kylee, and Colton).

Fred was known for his dynamic personality, huge smiles, love of family, concern for others, and big hugs. He will always be remembered for his kindness and generous spirit.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 11 from 9AM until time of Memorial Mass at 11AM at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH; 6000 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale. Private burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
