Goodbye my dear friend.
You founded the Gay Fathers group. You were a self-taught jazz pianist. You authored two books helping people deal with their sexuality and giving all hope that same sex relationships work. You painted. I have one of those paintings on my wall.
I did not know. I wish I could have said good bye and thank you.
You touched my life.
Thank you Tim.
Love...John

Our sincere love and sympathy to the Clausen family. I've known Tim since we were kids, and I always appreciated his kindness, sensitivity, and ability to see and interact with the world on his own terms. I appreciate that more and more as I get older. He was an artist and free thinker and though I saw him rarely, each time I did I felt as though it was a gift. A am sad to hear of his passing and I pray his soul is at peace with the Lord.

I knew Tim as a gentle soul who cared sincerely for other people. In the world there will be a large void in the place that he once occupied. He'll be missed greatly and remembered with love and thanks. My heartfelt sympathy to his nearest and dearest...I'm so sorry for your loss.

Tim was a wonderful, gentle soul. In mid July he emailed me to say that he probably would not be at the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts for his gig at the Piano Stage. Two weeks longer he was gone.
At 2:00 Saturday (Aug. 18) we will have a short remembrance at the Piano Stage (his normal performance time). We'll miss Tim immensely and never forget the joy he brought with his jazz piano. My sincere condolences to the family.

Tim was a remarkable person. One of a kind.
I was to see him on Saturday, July 28th.
He texted me on Friday, he would have to take a rain check for Saturday.
I told him to just let me know about the next week sometime.
I did not know he must of text me from Hospice. I had worked with him 14 years.
He never let anyone know how sick he really was the last 3 months.
Last thing he said to me was(with a hug)” Life is a Journey”! He lived his life well.
His kind heart..a great sense of humor (even though his pun for the day
was not always that funny)will not be forgotten. He is truly missed!

Prayers of peace and comfort for all who knew and loved Tim. He became part of my life when he asked if I would be willing to be interviewed for his books. I believe he made a positive difference in the lives of thousands of gay men through his writings. He brought smiles to my face with his posts on social media. Nick and family, know he made a difference. My condolences to you.
