On behalf of myself and the entire Vista Metals organization, we all wish to send our sincerest condolences on the passing of Bob. Knowing how much Bob loved his family including those in his HPM family and the absolute role they all played in his life, it is hard to say enough prayers for everyone who is suffering this loss. This wonderful man, respected business owner and highly intelligent industry leader will be missed by us all. It was a true honor to know Bob and we pray that God will embrace you all, reaffirm your faith and provide comfort for the entire family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Howard family and all those grieving the loss of Bob. What i am going to miss most about Bob are his big hugs, fist-bumps, and Bob-isms. My most fond memory of him was about 6 years ago. I went out for lunch and had the misfortune of backing into someone and scuffing the bumper of my new red car. Well, Bob noticed within 5 minutes of me pulling into the parking lot at work and talked to me about it. The next day, Bob brought in some rubbing compound and a towel and went outside and got to work. Here he was, an 80 year old president of our company, in slacks on an 85+ degree summer day, laying on the concrete with his shirt sleeves rolled up and just buffing away. After about 25 minutes, he came inside and passed the towel and compound over to me with instructions on how to continue to buff at home that night. He made sure to also give me some tips and tricks on how to apply touch-up paint to make it look brand new. It was that day that I realized just how much our relationship had changed. He was not just my employer. Bob was my friend, my family. He was my "other grandpa". My last conversation with him, I told him that I claimed him as family and that he was my grandpa. I don't think I will ever forget the sparkle and chuckle that he gave me in response. We all will miss Bob. He was a wonderful man with the biggest heart. His legacy will live on in all of us at Howard Precision Metals.

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Howard family, including the Howard Precision Metals family which I was grateful to be a part of for almost 10 years. God's Blessings to you Bob.
