Jerry L Schultz September 4, 2018 age 82, preceded in death by his parents Harlan and Nedra(nee Thompson)Schultz, Loving husband of 60 years to Shirley(Buchert) Schultz. Dear father to Todd Schultz(Julie) son and Rebecca Wendt daughter, grandfather to Joshua(Katelyn) Schultz, Courtney Schultz and Carter Wendt. Great grandfather to Coraline and Jerimiah Schultz. Brother to Marshall Schultz, Norman(Marjory) Schultz, Lyman(Maelene) Schultz, Darrell(Helen) Schultz, Diane(Anthony) Steiner, Lynda Williams, Daun(Gordan) Zimdars, sisters in law Linde Schultz and Ruth Schultz. Preceded in death by brothers Harlan Schultz, Marvin Schultz, Myron Schultz and Dale Schultz. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were also close to his heart.

Jerry was born and raised in Antigo, WI.  Graduated high school and attended DeVry Technical School for Electronics.  He moved to Oconomowoc in 1956.  He worked for Spritka TV for 16 years before starting his own painting contracting business Schultz Painting for residential and commercial work.  He retired 20 years ago with heart problems and was then diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

Jerry was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and rooting on the Green Bay Packers and Brewers.  

The family would like to say Thank you to all his caregivers who were so loving and kind to him the last few years, especially his last few months.  Also, to Paster Tetzlaff for all of his visits and spiritual guidance.

Memorial Mass will be held Saturday September 15, 2018 at 2 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church W1204 Rockvale Rd. in Ixonia at 2 pm.
