As someone who lost his wife of nearly 40 years to cancer in 2016 I know how lonely it can feel at times...but please try to remember the good times you shared and know that Jim's spirit lives on...Peace, Pat, MUHS class of '70

Dick and I send our prayers and love to the beautiful Gloriosso family during this difficult time. We regret that we cannot be with all of you for his funeral. There is no doubt that it will be a beautiful service1, filled with many tributes to this fine man.
We are so grateful for the love and kindness you showed Rich during his high school days when you graciously let him sleep at your home after working with Adam. He would often say how wonderful all of you were to him. He felt like part of your family.... and oh, what a fine family you are! Rich loved Mr. Gloriosso and thought he was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather and friend.
We have great memories of Jim. We were blessed to spend time talking with him when Jenna and Adam were married. We talked about our love for our children, our faith in God and our grateful we were for the many blessings God had showered upon our families.
Two comments Jim made during our talk about raising children still resonate with us. He said that our children must realize that “It takes just a little bit more effort to get it right.” The second philosophy about raising children that he shared with us was, “If you had the time to do a task over in order to get it right; you surely had the time to do it right the first time.” Both of these theories about child rearing are “Spot on.” Both Dick and I often talk about those words of wisdom.
Jim’s love of God and his family were front and center with him. He was so proud of all of you at Adam and Jenna’s wedding. He told us something special about each child and it was beautiful.
He will not be forgotten. He will live through all of you. He made this world a better place and so do all of you!
God bless the Gloriosso family!
Much love, thanks and prayers are sent to you!

Growing up in Wauwatosa I was a neighbor of Jims. He was a great kid and I remember with a smile on my face the fun we had. My best wishes to the Gloriosos and extended family.

Dear Glorioso Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have memories of his great smile and happy demeanor. He accomplished so much but should be most proud of the loving, selfless family he raised. Amy and Anthony, thank you for all you’ve done for me and my family over the years. I will be thinking of you, your wonderful mom and your siblings. Be there for each other and never stop sharing the memories you have of your dad with your own children. Sending love and prayers. -Erin
