Neil W. Sasse
July 28, 1938 - May 22, 2019

of the Town of Lisbon passed away May 22, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Suzanne (nee Schmidt) for 55 years. Dear father of Kevin (the late Karen Simek) and Jill (Ryan Brooks).

Neil served in the United States Army from 1959-1962, where he received training in electronics. He had a long career with the Wisconsin Telephone Company (later AT&T). An early retirement allowed him to spend time doing many things he enjoyed.

Neil was a handyman extraordinaire and shared his talents with family and friends. On several occasions, he packed his truck and drove to Massachusetts, Florida, and Virginia to work on projects with family members. He also thoroughly enjoyed putting his skills to work for the Channel 10 Auction for many years. In 1995, he spent considerable time working on the restoration of the Koehler-Zahn house in Menomonee Falls. His extensive collection of tools was shared with family and friends, and the rest were donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Other volunteer work included working with the Town of Lisbon Plan Commission. He was also a blood donor, starting in the Army and continuing well into his retirement years.

He enjoyed a good car trip and explored much of the country that way. Neil loved cats, dogs, and wildlife. After his children moved out, he took on the role of Cat Dad.

Visitation Tuesday May 28th at the FUNERAL HOME in Menomonee Falls from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Special thanks to everyone at Silverado Oak Village in Menomonee Falls, who provided loving care and support to Neil and our family.

Memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated.
