Joyce and my mother, Helen Upright were best friends, graduating from high school in Superior Wisconsin - they spent much time together in retirement, doing a few trips to enjoy the sights. She always appreciated catching up with the Saturday morning telephone call. Joyce remained strong of mind - when I visited her at the Home, she always asked about the rest of my family by name and wanted to know exactly what everyone was up to. I am sure that she and Mom are now catching up on old times. May the family know peace, as she is in a better place. Sincerely, the Uprights.

Our heartfelt sympathy to all the family. To live in the hearts of those left behind is to never die. Our condolences.

Joyce was an amazing mother-in-law and friend. She was strong, funny, and truthful. She was loved. The world seems kind of upside down without her in it. Thank you Joyce for simply being you...One of a kind, priceless, unforgettable. xo.
