Having just learned of Bill's passing, I will have to settle on expressing my condolences here belatedly. I found Bill to be very conscientious in his duties as counsellor to his assigned students. It was a vocation he served well, given his accessibility, his warmth and his genuine concern for those in his charge.
I remember numerous conversations over the classics, his early seminary experience and his interest in anything Shakespearean. He really enjoyed recounting to me the various trips he and Marilyn would make to Ontario for the Shakespearean festivals.
My hope is that Marilyn and family can find peace of mind in the days to come

It is difficult to say anything that could state your enormous loss and how we are sad because of it. Bill was such a positive person that it was always a pleasure to be with. He will be miss, and I hope that in time we all can focus on the great live he lived and how ours were better because of his. Please let me know if I can do anything to ease your pain.

I was saddened to hear about Bill’s passing. I worked with Bill at Mukwonago High School for over 20 years. Bill cared deeply about his students and his profession. He loved his family and often spoke proudly about them. Regretfully, I am unable to attend his memorial service, but send my deep and sincere sympathy to his wife and children.
