Dear Rocky,

One of my favorite PCM'ers of all time! I always enjoyed hearing from you. You were fair and appreciative - a model and inspiration for everyone to follow. You had a warm heart and a kind soul. I am very sad to see you go and pray that you may find peace and happiness in the land above. I pray for you and your family as well as your team - we will all miss you my friend!

Sincerely,

Phil Mogavero

Rocky was a man who lead by his actions. He never hesitated to reach out to offer help, someone to talk to, and simply just care about me more than just a rep at PCM. Rocky met my wife, Melissa and he made her feel like family right away and both of them share the same love for comic books and couldn't stop talking about it. I was glad that I was able to see Rocky few months ago, even through tough times, he still host us at his house. I learned how to be a husband and a father through Rocky. Rocky always talked about his family and never once complain all of the things he does for them, as a husband and a father. I learned to put my family first for everything from Rocky. Melissa and I miss him dearly and miss all of the conversation we had. He will forever be in our hearts! We love you Rocky and our prayers goes out to Vivian, Matt and Amanda, please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help with anything.

It’s not often you meet someone who can light up a room the way Rockster did. Like others, most of my memories of Rocky were filled with laughter and joy (including the time he swore at me in Sicilian during a meeting in Chicago after I took a cheap shot at him:). That was who the Rockster was to me, a great man with a welcoming/warm soul. One of my fondest memories was during a work trip where Scott promised Viv he was not going to take a sip of alcohol, and he told me I was his wing-man to make sure of it! I briefly left him to go to the bathroom at the event and when I came back he was holding a Heineken in each hand! I was shocked as I was gone for only about 5mins, regardless, I shrugged my shoulders and motioned to take one from him (assuming one was for me) and he pulled back and exclaimed “they’re both for me!”. I chuckled and said “Rock, you’re not supposed to be drinking and now you’re double fisting!?”…he responded “Yeah, and you weren’t supposed to leave me alone!”. So sad to know that my Rockster is gone, however forever in my heart he will remain and I will never leave him alone again in my heart. God bless you Rock.

So sorry to hear of Rocky’s passing. I had the privilege of working with Rocky at PCM. He was the first person I would go to for honest and constructive feedback. He was kind to all and always commented that I was one of “the good guys”. He made us all feel special and I have a feeling that he told everyone that they were “one of the good guys” because he looked for and believed the best everyone. My prayers are with his family for the loss they must be feeling.

"Stellar" that is how I would describe Rocky. He was simply an awesome human being. He was kind, loyal, sweet, generous and all around an outstanding and exceptional man. He was my friend, coworker, a mentor and even my boss for a short period of time. We got to spend some quality time together in Vegas when everyone else was golfing and I will cherish those memories forever. Thanks for all the talks and advice and for being a part of my life Rocky. RIP, you are with the angels now as you deserve to be. Luv ya buddy!

Vivian - I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always fondly remember Rocky for his easy smile and sometimes fiery passion when he was speaking about something or someone he believed in. He always brightened a room and made people feel comfortable and welcome. I remember that from my first day at ComputAbility some 26 years ago and so many times since. We hadn’t worked much together in the last few years but whenever we got a chance we would catch up about life and families. He was a such a kind man and a friend. I will always have a special place in my heart for him. Sending all my love to you and the kids during this very hard time. - Kristin

I first worked with Rocky when I joined PC Mall in 2000 and made the trip to WI every 2 to 3 months. A joy to work with, professional, respectful, hard working - he epitomized everything I loved about that office and the team. I will forever carry Rocky in my heart as a wonderful colleague.

In “Rocky” we have lost a beloved friend and colleague. In the 16yrs I have known Rocky, I don’t recall a single bad moment. He had such a wonderful and respectful relationship with everyone fortunate to know him. Rocky was a genuine, kind and extremely loyal individual to his work family at PCM and his family at home. He often spoke fondly about Vivian, Matt and Amanda. He loved his family more than anything and was so proud of them. He also showered his love and respect to all his peers at the Milwaukee office, many of whom owe their success to his uncompromising unconditional support. Personally I have lost a close friend who I have admired and learnt so much from. He will forever be a part of me and I will miss him dearly. Rest In Peace Rockster. Love always, Sean.
