Dear Tom, Wendy and Mary Lee,
Your dad was our family physician and dear friends of my parents, Dick and Louise Woods, in the 1970s. They stayed in touch for many years. I know this is a tender time, and I am sending my sincere sympathy. I was so fond of both your dad and Mom.
With gratitude,
Becky Woods

Dear Tom, Wendy, Mary Lee, and families, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Irvie's passing. I really admired your dad. He was so genuine, warm, upbeat, and curious. Such a pleasure to be around! My family and I are abroad so I won't be able to attend his service, but I want you to know that I am thinking of you and remembering your dad fondly. I will also make a donation to the library in his honor. Lots of love, and hoping you are finding peace and laughter in your family memories, through the tears, Melissa (Janie's daughter)

I had the pleasure & privilege of knowing & working with Dr. Hoeft from 1970, when I came to OMH to join Dr. G. Dan Miller straight out of MCOW anesthesiology residency, until dr. Hoeft retired. He was loved & respected by colleagues & staff & patients. We all agreed that he was an example of the ideal physician. I regret that I will be unable due to previous commitments that I am unable to change to attend Dr. Hoeft's funeral. I extend
