Sussex - (nee Hacker) Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the age of 64 years.

Cathy was born to Bob and Betty (Mary Elizabeth McMenamin) Hacker on July 16, 1955.  She married Arnold Jahn, her life companion, on November 22, 1980. The couple raised three children while building a successful precision machining business where she ran the office until very recently.

Cathy had a passion for helping others. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and was very active in both school and extracurricular activities with her family. She enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Devoted mother of Brian (Valery) Jahn, Jennifer (David) Gaar and Lisa (Michael) Wilder. Loving sister of Jeanne Hacker, John Hacker, Mary (late Bill) Sands, and Rosemary (Tim) Mac Innes.  Special grandmother of Ashlyn, Blake, Giuliana and Mason. Longtime friend to Monica Wroblewski. Further survived by her wonderful nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

Preceded in death by her loving parents Bob and Betty Hacker, sister Marcia, and brother Daniel. Also preceded by parents-in-law Joseph and Philomina Jahn, brother-in-law Joseph, niece Christine, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her legacy lives on in all who were touched by her huge personality and giving heart. She brought joy to all those around her with her infectious laugh and smile.

We can’t comprehend the reason why God chose to take her at this time but we have the peace of knowing she had a strong faith. She is with her heavenly Father and the earthly mother and father. Rest in the peace of God's light and love, Cathy. We will miss you until the day we join you in heaven.
