Entered his eternal home on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the age of 86 years.  

Beloved husband of Martha “Marti” A. (nee VanderBunt).  Loving father of Cindy (Gene) Nicolosi-Smith, Tom, Jr. (Pam), Tim (Ellie), John (Victoria), Annie (Pat) Perry, Jannie (Bob) Devereux, and the late Margaret “Peggy”.  Stepdaughter Tia Brown and stepson Bryan Coker. Proud Grand-Papa of Rebekah (Travis), Erika (Chris), Thomas III, Amanda, Timothy (Candy), Sarah (Daniel), Bridgit (Nate), Melissa (Jhovany), Sean, Michelle, Kyle, Jessica (Nick), Joshua. Weslee, Kasondra, Summer, James. Adored “G.G.” of Graysea. Sarai. Scarlett. Eliza, Owen. Jovanna, Jaden. Julian, Jackson. Masyn, Mylan. Elijah.  Sierra, Kiara. (nee Lynch) Monfre, other relatives & friends.  Predeceased by parents, Joseph C. Laur and Barbara C. (nee Renner), wife, Janet (nee Hodgson), daughter, Margaret, brothers, Joe and Ken, sister-in-laws, Ruth and Carol, son-in-law, Angelo Nicolosi, and nephew, David Laur. 

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI.  A graduate of Shorewood High School.  Retired owner of Acme Systems, Inc.  Tom raised two families.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was committedly involved with “Fair Tax” and closely followed politics on all levels.  Tom sang in the choir at Trinity Community Church, organized missions trips to Venezuela and the Amazon jungle, served as elder, mentored Corey and many youth, advocated for the unborn, and served the less fortunate in many capacities. Tom was a wonderful, strong, faithful, meticulous, generous and determined man who would do anything (almost) for anyone. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bavarian Bierhaus, Jagermeister Pavilion, 700 W. Lexington Ave., Glendale, WI from 12 noon to 2:30 pm, on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
