Menomonee Falls, WI - (Nee Delfeld) Born on May 26, 1924 and born to eternal life on July 20, 2020 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Emil. Loving Mother of Mike (Margie), Cindy (John) Torroll, Kathy (Doug) Neumann, Jim (Katie), Dan and Tom (Lori). Beloved Grandma of Erik, Ryan, Kalianne, Amy, Tracey, Sarah, Ty, Meka, Austin, Kellen, Taylor, Kylee, Lauren, Marshall and Elaina. Sweet Great Grandma of Jack, Charlie, Ollie and Maggie. Eternal Big Sister of Dolores Zimmer. Cherished Aunt of Diane Miller, Kristin Guadagno and Laura Zimmer Mooney among many more. Further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation at noon on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88W17658 Christman Rd, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, Memorial Service to follow at 1 PM. (Please wear a mask.) Private family burial at St. Mary's Church, Lomira, WI. In lieu of flowers, Evie supported Capuchin Community Services and any contribution would be appreciated. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Paul Halstrom and to nurses Elena and Crystal at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital who helped keep her comfortable during her final days.
Evie was an amazing person who found many ways to give back to her community. She loved her family and many friends. She was a master Scrabble player and also enjoyed card games, reading and singing with her group, "The Golden Oldies". She was able to find joy in life even as her health dramatically declined. She was an eternal optimist.
