Lannon – Passed away at home October 11th at the age of 69. Loving father to Brian (Alison) Hanson and Jamie (Tad) Schroeder. Proud grandfather to Teagan, Elias, Story, Hayden, Liam, and Amaya. Long-time partner to Karen Jeras. Survived by siblings Joanne (Pat) Shallow, Patricia Hanson, and Mike “Boogie” Hanson. Preceded in death by parents Ralph and Bette (Hawkey), brothers Jimmy Hanson and Roger (Gail) Hanson.

Ron lived life to the fullest and touched those around him with his kind nature and welcoming personality. He was selfless and good-natured, always willing to lend advice and a helping hand. Never wanting to sit still, Ron was an avid woodworker, model builder, and overall “tinkerer” who had a creative solution to any project. A fan of the Green Bay Packers and auto racing, he could often be found at a local tavern enjoying a brandy old-fashioned, fish fry, and conversation with old and new friends alike. Ron will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends.

The family would like to thank the dedicated medical staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Tendick Center for Advanced Heart Failure Therapies for their unwavering support of Ron and his loved ones while managing his care. Their compassion, expertise, and commitment to patient care is greatly appreciated.

Honoring Ron’s wishes to forego a formal service, the family will host a celebration of life party at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
