Vivian Lois Adrian
October 29, 1930 - November 28, 2020

Vivian Lois Adrian received her crown of life from Our King, Jesus Christ, on November 28, 2020. Vivian was born October 29, 1930 and raised in Bay View, Wisconsin. She lived throughout many parts of the Milwaukee area before moving to Luther Manor Terrace apartments in Wauwatosa.

Vivian started working at Cutler Hammer/Eaton Corporation as a stenographer and then was introduced to word processing before she retired after 48 years of service, as computers were taking over. She partook in many years of traveling after retiring. Her favorite trips included Costa Rica and visiting her sisters in Las Vegas, Washington State, and Texas.  She was an avid patron of various theaters and loved trying vegetarian entrees at new restaurants; her favorite dessert was tiramisu.

Vivian never married but showered her love on her nieces and nephews and blessed them with her time and attention. She always enjoyed playing Rummikub and dominoes, completing jigsaw puzzles, and the daily crossword puzzle from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Family and friends knew not to disturb Vivian between 6-7 PM when she was watching “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune.”

A favorite past time of Vivian’s was emailing her nieces and nephews current events and interesting tidbits she’d find in the newspaper or online. She also relished receiving emails and pictures from her family on their life events.

She is survived by her siblings:  Ted (89), Marlene (86) and Fay (84); her sister-in-law, Donna; her many nieces and nephews, and 15 great nieces and nephews.   Her “baby brother,” Jerry (82) preceded her in death, by ten days.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, December 6 at 1 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W Greenfield Avenue, New Berlin.
