Giuseppe Cutraro
June 22, 1940 - January 9, 2021

Of Germantown, Wisconsin. Born to eternal life on January 9, 2021 at the age of 80. Dear son of the late Santa and Francesco “Ciccio.” Giuseppe was born on June 22, 1940 in Sicily. Giuseppe had the joy of living the American Dream. Sponsored by Hack’s furniture and his Zia Bernice and Zio Sam Cutraro; he immigrated from Sicily when he was 27 years old. He married his loving wife Marie (nee Zarzynski) on January 24, 1970 in Milwaukee, WI. He learned the language and decided to open his own furniture reupholstery business in 1976. He was great at his craft and his customers became his friends. With the help of his extremely patient wife, they raised three great kids, Sandra (Steve) Anderson, Rebecca (Ryan) Wax and Francesco (Nicole), and was deeply in love with his 4 grandkids, Emma, Madeline, Ashley and Giuseppe. Family was everything to him!

Survived by his loving nieces and nephews in Sicily; Rosella (Giuseppe) Somma, Francesca Trapani, Giacomo Trapani and their children, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister Angela Trapani.

Giuseppe was a hard-working man. He hustled for everything he wanted. He worked until he couldn’t work anymore. He was one hell of a presence in a room, you only had to meet him once and would never forget him. He could light up any room just by being in it.

Giuseppe loved entertaining and hosting family and friends. His best dishes were spaghetti and meatballs and octopus salad. From family, friends, daycare staff and the car dealership; he liked to surprise others with cannoli’s and treats. He was an avid collector of many “things”.

Visitation at FUNERAL HOME in Menomonee Falls Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Private family Mass will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to The Alzheimer’s Association.
