Magdalena Selthafner (nee Muehl) passed into eternal life on Monday, February 15, 2021, at the age of 84. Magdalena lived a full life. After many hardships, she immigrated to the United States in 1957, along with her family. In 1961, she met and married the love of her life, Valentine Selthafner and they shared 60 happy years of marriage. They would lovingly raise five children together: John (Maia), Peter (Patty), the late Maria (Robert) Neddersen, Joseph, and James (Marissa). 

 Magdalena showed incredible resilience of spirit in not only raising her family, but also caring for her ailing mother for almost thirty years, surviving cancer, major heart surgery, and many losses. Her incredible cooking, storytelling, caring heart, and penchant for pictures will be missed by everyone who knew her. 

 She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Visitation Thursday, February 18 at the funeral home from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 19 at 1:30 PM at Holy Hill, Chapel of St. Therese-Level 2 1525 Carmel Rd., Hubertus. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s of the Hill Cemetery.
