Sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing! Jim and I, worked with Brenda in Ely, Nevada. She was a hard worker! We lost touch after we moved from Ely!

~ Jim and Michelle Whelan, Richfield, UT

I am saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. She was an awesome person and was by cubicle partner at the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. She had a kind heart and when I heard her over my cubicle; I often thought she knows so much about her position and it went way over my head. Prayers are with her families.

We knew Brenda from Toastmasters. Our meetings will not be the same without Brenda. She often added laughter and lightness to our discussions and was able to lift up other members. We are struggling with disbelief and grief.
We will miss you Brenda?? Godspeed??

~ Anne & Kevin Addesso, Sheboygan, WI

I think my first day at NDSU in Fargo, Brenda (who I had just met) and I and some other new acquaintances shared our first college pizza that night. For a first meeting she was super nice and friendly and of course always remained that way throughout the college years.

My sympathies to her family and other friends. She was always a very sincere and caring friend during those years together.

I was scrolling through my FB feed tonight and was shocked to read that Brenda had passed away. My deepest sympathies to her family. She and I (her cantoring, me on piano) often provided Mass music at Ascension Church in Bismarck. She had an amazing voice, a beautiful smile and such a great spirit. I am sad that our paths will never cross again in this life....

My sincere sympathy to you all. I worked briefly with Brenda at the Forest Service Regional Office in Milwaukee several years ago. My memory is her kindness, knowledge and her love of helping folks. May you all find comfort and peace in knowing she's in Heaven where she can still bestow her watchfulness. Keeping you all in my prayers and thoughts.

~ Connie S. Macek, Nelsonville, OH

I was a US Forest Service co-worker with Brenda over the past 10+ years. I will remember her as one of the kindest and most friendly individuals I have had the privilege to work with. She always made me feel at ease and I was able to approach her with my silly questions knowing she would answer without making me feel foolish! Her passing has made me reflect deeply on water matters in life most - kindness, integrity, empathy and the love for fellow humans no matter whether in the workplace or at home. Please know she was well loved by many.

Heaven’s choir gained a beautiful voice. I’m beyond heartbroken that Brenda is no longer here to visit with. I was blessed to have reconnected with her and was able share stories and laughs. Prayers of comfort and strength for all who love her during this difficult time.

So sorry to learn of Brenda's passing. Lots of good memories of FFA meetings, contests, trips and then to have Brenda serve on the first state officer team that I was privileged to work with was an added pleasure. I let the State FFA Office and foundation know as well as my Facebook friends which includes tons of former FFA members and Advisors. Prayers and hugs for you all. I plan to send a memorial to the FFA Foundation in her honor.
