Mary Ellen Kiesner (nee Phillips), Born April 3, 1946, peacefully entered her heavenly home on April 7, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Mary Ellen was a loving wife, mother, and faith-filled servant of God. She served as National President of the Women's ELCA from 2002 to 2005. She also served as The Agency Manager for the Wauwatosa Special Olympics for 15 years and was an X-Ray Technician in the medical field. She is survived by her husband Daniel, her three daughters, Lisa Eslyn, Amy Kiesner, and Christin Goodman, and her five siblings, twin sister Marianne Neuman, Samuel Phillips, Patrick Phillips, Thomas Phillips, and Holly Forchette.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity; two charities close to Mary Ellen's heart were The Salvation Army and the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. A Memorial Service will be held Sat. April 17 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1350 Hwy 175 Hubertus at 4 PM. Visitation will be at the Church from 1 PM until the time of the Service. Private burial will take place at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
