Guenther W. Eisenmann MENOMONEE FALLS Guenther passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021 at the age of 92, while residing at Congregational Home, Brookfield, WI.  He was born on February 20, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI to Julia (née Hornung) and Wilhelm Eisenmann.  At the age of 14, Guenther had already learned to love construction work, working alongside his father in masonry.  Before graduating from Rufus King High School, he had secured a 4-year apprenticeship with the bricklayers union. With a union business agent’s influence, his apprenticeship was reduced to 3 years, and he became a journeyman at age 18. After proudly serving in the United States Army, and for the next 48 years, the construction industry provided his livelihood. He was recently honored by the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, Local 8, for the longest (75 continuous years) union membership.

Guenther had a great appreciation for music, both vocal and instrumental. With a wonderful baritone/bass voice, he sang in church choirs at Epworth Methodist, Church of the Good Hope, and Emmanuel Community United Methodist. His lay leadership and regular participation in State Annual Conferences of Methodist Churches renewed his faith.  Guenther was a kind and thoughtful person. He always had a ready smile and can-do attitude. Ask those who worked with him while volunteering at Welcome HOME, Habitat for Humanity, or the many special projects for family and friends.

Guenther was preceded in death by his parents, his only sister Marlene (Jahn), and his beloved first wife, Marjorie (née Dunning).  He is survived by dear wife Mary Ann Stueber, son Kurt (Cynthia), daughter Juline (Ralph) Wolfgram, grandchildren Erik (Vanessa) Eisenmann, Kelsey (Kent) Shook, Zeke (Kathy) Wolfgram, Ivy (Eric) Toy, and Eli (Amanda) Wolfgram. Great-grandchildren Noah, Amelia, Lilah, Cora, Elsa, Eloise, Samson, Hunter, Joshua, and Grayson, along with nieces and nephews will be reminded of his love for them as well.

 A Memorial Gathering will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, Menomonee Falls on Friday, April 23, 2021, beginning at 1:00 and including a Celebration of Life service at 2:00.
