Randall Hart Goelzer, 66, a lifelong Wauwatosa resident, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 11, 2021.  Randy was born on November 20, 1954 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Gerald H. Goelzer and Roberta (nee Hart) Goelzer.  He is survived by brothers Daniel (Angela) of Bethesda, Maryland and Richard of Milwaukee, nephew Michael and nieces Christina and Mary.

A graduate of Wauwatosa East High School, Randy received his undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa, where he served as a church deacon and participated in the church’s work for Habitat for Humanity.  Randy was a devoted Brewers and Packers fan, and never missed a game if he could help it.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on April 24, 2021, with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., and service at 11:00 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa, 1511 Church Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing to protect family and friends. A private burial will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
