In life there are people you meet that you never forget and Janet is one of them. When I was a kiddo I spent time with Janet because she was my friend's mom. Actually, she was like a second mom to me and the Sandvik kids were like family. Janet was funny, caring and always kind. She had a light about her that shined bright.

Such a sweet lady I had the pleasure of knowing!! I referred to her as Jan or Kim's Mom. What I admire most is how strong & independent she was in raising 5 children. She had a lot of positive energy and spunk. I really enjoyed seeing her and talking with her at all the family gatherings. One thing was evident, the pride she had for her family.
