Our deepest condolences to Adam's family and friends. He was a very special man who left a mark on all our hearts here at Byram Properties. He was a delight to do business with. We have made a donation to the Ozaukee Campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society in his honor. God bless you all.

I first met Adam as a RE MBA student at Wisconsin. I accompanied his class to China to learn about real estate there. I remember he decided to take the high speed train to the airport when we were leaving so he could experience it (he was the only one to do this). Over the years he generously shared his time and wisdom with the students, faculty and staff in the Wisconsin Real Estate Program. The program is stronger because of his caring and participation. I am so sorry that he is gone and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

I was in Adam’s grade at USM. While we were not close friends (USM is a small school so we were part of a small community/family), I can remember him as someone that always had a smile on his face and a very positive mindset. He was someone that was always wanting to help his peers and wanted everyone to be happy and content. At the time as a young person, I didn’t appreciate his kindness, positivity, and commitment to making others feel positive about themselves, but looking back and to the present I can recognize and honor him for his positivity and kindness. Reading about his accomplishments brings me some joy…he not only was a kind human but a very, very accomplished one. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was so sad to hear of Adam’s passing. He was very generous to my students with both his time and expertise. Indeed, heaven will be more fun with Adam in it.

My condolences to the Cibik family. Adam and I overlapped during his time at ERS. Adam struck me as a gentle and genuine soul who always had a smile on his face. He was sincere and friendly. His passing is a shock but his influence on others will be lasting. In a world like the one we're currently living in, we need more people like Adam. May his memory be lasting and his new journey be just as memorable.

My condolences/prayers to the Cibik family. I knew Adam while working at ERS as his assistant. He was such a kind soul and I can reassure you that even in the most trying times, Adam always had a smile on his face, even if he shouldn't. That's just a testament of what kind of person he was. It was such a pleasure to read such an amazing obituary about all the things Adam accomplished over the years prior to having the privilege of meeting/working with him and the things he was most recently doing. I am shocked to hear of his passing and wish I would have been able to say hi and catch up with him. I do remember the last time he visited us and he did come bearing gifts (of course snacks!). He will definitely hold a place in my heart and memories. Rest easy Adam.

I have been serving as a mentor to real estate students at UW-Madison since 1983, and I first met Adam his senior year at the University. Over the years, we built a very close relationship. While it started with me being his mentor, it grew into a true friendship over his distinguished, and tragically short, career in real estate. Most recently, he asked me to join the advisory board of his newest company. I am saddened by the fact that I will not have that chance. I was in Europe when I got the news of his passing and, unfortunately, will be back in Europe on the day of his memorial service. My thoughts are with his family and his friends.

Dearest brother John, sister Connie, and Paul & Kristin:

Robert and I offer heavy hearts of sadness in the loss of your young and vibrant, Adam---the Adam we all loved. Such a bright star in this world!-- he will be dearly missed at reunions and gatherings, where we would enjoy a range of topics from sober "life ponderings" to witty banter. May GOD comfort and bless you all now and in the days ahead. With every ache in your heart, I pray it's replaced with a spark of joy.

Though we will be unable to attend his memorial gathering next month, we will be with you all in love and spirit.

Wishing blessings, comfort, and love,
Robert & Heidi

I was a year ahead of Adam at University School from middle school onward. As word of Adam’s passing has spread through the USM community, I can honestly say that it has effected people like no other that we’ve yet experienced. Though they might have lost touch with him over the years, every single person that I have spoken to expressed that Adam was truly one of the most genuinely kind people they have ever known. Even though, I know he couldn’t have always been in a such great mood, he made sure that seeing him meant the rest of your day would be brighter. His energy was contagious. His passing has made all of our lives darker.

Adam were and are my oldest and dearest friend. For 32 years we schemed, plotted and hatched plans of all sorts. The memories and thoughts of you will only bring tears of joy and hearty smiles of the time we were able to share. It is an unfamiliar world without you, but the impact you made on so many lives will have echoes you could never dream of. We love you Uncle Adam. Rest easy.

Love,

Chris, Andrea, Sawyer & Mia
