I got to know Nancy in the UW-Extension Master Gardener class in 2009. We sat next to each other and shared the love of gardening. And the years following, our group of 7 Master Gardeners were able to meet for lunch. Nancy was happy to share her love of nature and photography with us. Her Somers prairie project was fascinating. We will all miss her greatly.

I am so devastated. Nancy was a beautiful, amazing woman who I was lucky to become friends with in the early 1980s. A brilliant photographer and business woman whose passing will leave an empty space in so many lives. I will miss you my friend. Love you always.

Nancy was my neighbor at the Marshall building. I have a fond memory of her giving me a ham that she had just photographed for her business. She was a lovely person and I wish I could have known her better. I will miss seeing her. My sympathies to her family.

I’ve known Nancy since grade school and became good friends in high school. After high school we had a few apartments together and moved to Arizona together She was such a strong person and would do anything for anyone. I was always in awe of her self confidence and independent personality
Although we lost touch over the years when I moved out of state, I will always think of her as my best friend in my early adult years. My memories of the great times we had together will always be close to my heart.

Nancy was such an upbeat happy sole. She had a natural radiant glow about her that drew you in. She was a neighbor, and my sisters friend, who always treated me, the little sister as a friend too! She will be missed.
