Karen Morales-Georgiev was taken by a heavenly host of Angels to be received by Jesus, November 14th, 2021, at 3:05 p.m. Loving wife of Rumen Georgiev. Karen is the dear mother of Tony Cruz (Gabrielle), Andrew Cruz, Ben Cruz, Jonathan Cruz, Rachael Blair, Marie Lambrecht (Jeff), and Karina Petri. She loved all her grandchildren, Amanda, Marcel and Diego (Tony), Victor and Alahna (Ben), Callie and Mya (Rachael), Isaiah, Illyanna and Daniel (Marie), and Chloe, Gracie and Weston (Karina).
Karen is the daughter of Phillip and Margaret Morales. She was the apple of her father’s eye.
She is the beloved sister of Phillip Morales, Jr., Victor Morales, John Mueller (Gail), Diane Brooks (Jeff) and David Morales (Tina), and many dear relatives and friends.
Karen was well known for many things. Her passions ran far and wide. Her most important passion being her undying love for her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She was the one everyone called when in a time of need. She loved sharing Jesus with others and would use her great knowledge of scripture to encourage others. Karen was a great prayer intercessor, often praying for others, hours at a time. She was outgoing and made friends easily.
Karen’s heart resembled that of Jesus as her life reflected his hands and feet. She never hesitated to help those in need. From feeding to housing, she helped with it all. Karen had a God given gift to love others. This was something Karen did around the clock, both paid and unpaid, as a Social Worker in the greater Milwaukee area.
She was a tenacious worker with a drive larger than her own State could keep her. In her younger years she studied in her detective field and became a Private Eye. Her job often set her sights across State lines, as she worked hard and searched high and low to solve cases. Karen worked alongside local and federal agencies while operating under her own successful Agency. The Private Investigators Association of Wisconsin she started two decades ago is still operating successfully today.
Karen will be missed by so many. Thank you to Diane for caring for her sister these many months.
The Service for Karen will take place on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Poplar Creek Church (formerly West Layton Assembly of God) 11530 W. Layton Avenue, Greenfield. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Milwaukee.
