My deepest sympathy on the passing of Joyce. I grew up on Ash St. in Ironwood, so walked to Norriie school on many mornings with Joyce as she grew up on Popular St. My condolences!

My mother was Helen Barna Masuga from Crystal Falls, MI. I was looking up Joyce’s address just today, 11/21, because I have a note that says these books belong to Joyce Barna Koehler in my moms handwriting. There are about 8 smallish books and pamphlets, most of which are in Polish or Slovak. I can tell two are prayer books along with a few pamphlets. My Mom died in 2009 and I tried once before to get ahold of her to no avail. If anyone is interested in these
books, I would be happy to send them to you. If you want to email me at cathy.butts.msu@gmail.com I could send a picture of what I’m talking about. I kept the house in Crystal where I was born but we live in down state MI and only come up a few times a year. I will be up here until Nov 30th so if you could get ahold of me I can get them sent off. My cell phone is 269-783-6461.

We must be some cousins, I’m not sure how far removed. I’m sorry for your loss, it is hard to see family leaving us. I will light a candle for her.

Sincerely,
Cathy Butts
