Loving mother of Stephen (Kathy), Christine (Scott) Smieja, Carolyn (Russ) Weyker, Joanne (Todd) Fonseca, Robert M. (Jennifer) and Michael (Amanda) Manders. Proud grandma of Jason, Lauren (Rebecca) Kelly-Manders, Jaclyn (Eric) Kujawa, Courtney (Edward) Ross, Jared (Madeliene) Weyker, Robert S., Jennifer (Brian) Keller, Aaron, Justin, Ryan, Nathan, Lily, Raegan, Eben and Adelyn. Cherished great-grandma of McKenna, Owen, Ella, Noah and Miles. Dear sister of William (Vikki) Schmidt and Mary Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her brother Don, and sisters Alice and Pat. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed family outings and get togethers, and took great pride in her children and their families. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Commons and Brighton Hospice for the care they gave Barbara in her final weeks.

Due to some family health concerns, services for Barbara will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s name to St Mary’s Church or Brighton Hospice are greatly appreciated.
