Katherine R. Krist (nee Wagner), a Germantown resident since 1971, past onto eternal life with Our Savior on December 22, 2021 at Horizon Home Care & Hospice in Mequon of issues related to COPD.  She was 85.

Beloved wife of the late George Krist.  Loving mother of Linda (Glen) Ewer, Irving (Mary), Sandra (David) Hoyer, David and Cynthia.  Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 7 great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Delores (Charlie) Thompson, John (Joan) Wagner, Susan Rott and the late Marian Wagner.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Katherine was born on November 22, 1936 on a farm at Mill and Lannon Road in Menomonee Falls, to parents John Wagner Sr. and Katherine Wagner.

Katherine cherished spending her time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a steadfast prayer warrior and enjoyed participating in Bible studies with her church family at Life Church in Germantown.

Katherine definitely lived by Bible verse 1 John 4:11: “Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life!”

Visitation at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.  Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to family.
