Kevin Casper, son of Robert Casper and Carol (nee Lepak) Casper, passed away on April 15, 2022 of a heart attack. Survived by his brother, Brian, step-mother, Marg and step-sisters, Vanessa (Bob) Johanning, Sue (Todd) Pomerenke, Trina (Steve) Moede, and Tanya (Dale) Mumper.
His love of dogs was his passion, and his loyal and faithful pal, Dexter, brought out his nurturing side. Dexter went everywhere with him. Everywhere. He was always by his side. He brought out Kevin’s caring heart and accepting soul, compassion and empathy.
Kevin was raised in Menomonee Falls, graduated from Hamilton High School in 1987 and went on to study computer technology at WCTC Technical College. Concurrently, he was learning new carpenters skills. He soon found his vocation working as a carpenter. He loved it and refined his skill over the course of a 30 plus year career. His work was very fulfilling to him. He was able to create something tangible using his hands. Being able to see his accomplishments was a sense of pride for him.
Kevin had an adventurous nature and liked being around water. For a time he worked in Costa Rica going out deep sea fishing. Boating, jet skiing, swimming and taking in the sunsets brought him joy. He played golf and was a big NASCAR fan. Also enjoyed baseball, football, and sports in general. Three wheeling and motorcycle riding showed his daring side. Music concerts were also big on his agenda. Music and old movies, playing chess and reading were his recent pastimes.
Kevin had an attractive, dry sense of humor that often brought sunshine to so many people. His sarcasm, quick wit and easy going personality made it easy to love him and call him a friend.
Also survived by step-brother, Christopher (Michelle) Groshek, step-sisters, Ramona (Jack) Wenger, June (Pete) Czarnezki, and Faye (Joe) Nievinski, other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kevin will be greatly missed.
