Of Milwaukee. Born to eternal life May 17, 2022 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Donna for 51 years. Loving father of Jim (Jody), John and Jennifer (Russ) Hein. Proud Grandpa of Kayla, Dystiny, Mykenzy, Alli, Abi, Jackson, Sam, Jake, Brett, Brady and Bernadette. Dear brother of Cindy (Marty) Becker and Dan. He is also closely survived by nieces, nephews, many cousins, other family and friends.

Dick was a US Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1966-69 and enjoyed annual reunions with his shipmates.  He was a world-renowned judge of show pigeons and had friends in the sport spanning the globe.  He worked as a Quality Control Inspector at Evinrude for 35+ years.  Beyond that he worked and supported local Humane Societies accepting displaced birds at all hours to care for them prior to returning them to their owners.  He also had a love for all animals and shared his knowledge with children of all ages and had a profound effect on the community.

Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME in Menomonee Falls Thursday, June 2 from 4:00 PM until the time of sharing at 7:00 PM. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA, 8661 N 76th Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53223, Friday, June 3 at 10:30 AM. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Washington, HAWS, Ozaukee or your local Humane Society.
